The Full Cat Ladder Range at a Glance

One Factory, Every Cat Ladder Variant

Every cat ladder below is built in the same Shijiazhuang plant to the same engineering baseline — then configured to your climb height, environment and governing standard. Three ways to narrow it down: by configuration (how it climbs and exits), by material (where it stands), or by application (what it accesses). Not sure? Send the wall or tank photo — our engineers pick the variant for you, free. Non-compliant access can void insurance cover and trigger regulator citations after any incident.

Cat Ladders FAQ

What are cat ladders?
A cat ladder is a fixed industrial ladder for climbing roofs, tanks, silos and plant structures. It is built from Q235B hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG 85–100 µm), stainless SS304/316, aluminium or GRP, and engineered to OSHA 1910.28, EN ISO 14122-4, BS 4211 or AS 1657.
Which standard should my cat ladder meet?
Tell us the code your site answers to — OSHA 1910.28/1910.23 for the US, EN ISO 14122-4 for EU machinery access, BS 4211 for UK fixed ladders, or AS 1657 for Australia. Geometry, cage dimensions and paperwork follow automatically; every order ships with DoC, MTC 3.1 and structural calcs.
How much does a cat ladder cost?
Pricing depends on climb height, material and cage configuration, so we quote itemized ex-works rates within 24 hours rather than publish averages. Factory-direct rates typically land well below US catalog equivalents for the same compliance documentation. See our cat ladder price guide for what drives cost per metre.
What height can you make and what documentation is included?
Single-piece cat ladders up to 25 m; taller climbs are split into flanged sections with rest platforms. Every order includes a Declaration of Conformity, an EN 10204 3.1 material certificate and an engineer-signed structural calculation sheet, at no extra cost.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No — trial orders start from 1 unit, so a single ladder for one roof access point is fine. Container mixes of ladders, cages, gates and brackets are quoted per load plan, and shipment goes EXW, FOB or CIF to your port.
Do you help with installation?
Every order ships with anchor plans and installation drawings, and all sections are bolt-together — no welding on site. Where specified, we trial-assemble the configuration in the factory before dispatch so bolt holes and material grades line up on day one.
Are spare parts available after delivery?
Yes — spare rungs, brackets and safety gates are available as ongoing orders, so a damaged rung or gate does not mean replacing the ladder. Our parts and spares page lists the range, and each item is quoted with the same 24-hour response.
Which material should I choose for my environment?
Q235B hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG 85–100 µm) is the default for roof and plant access; SS304/SS316 stainless suits chemical, marine and washdown areas; aluminium and GRP serve electrical and highly corrosive duties. Stainless is mill-certified, and all five families quote from one production line.
How do I choose between the six configurations?
Start from how the climb exits: a plain vertical ladder for short walls, a caged build above the fall-protection threshold, rest platforms over 25 m, then walkway-and-gate systems at the roof edge. Send a photo of the access point and our engineers pick the variant free.
